Easy to follow and easy to understand, The Joy Of Needlepoint  has all the answers to the many questions asked about this beautiful craft. Diane Wachman has created a reference stitch book that clearly explains all the basic needlepoint stitches, plus a variety of not-too-complicated stitches which will enhance any design. The Joy of Needlepoint also features several simple designs to get you started, intermediate designs for greater challenge and, on full colour pages, how they should all look when finished.

Diane Wachman was born in Sydney, married a Londoner and spent the next 19 years in England, where she learned a variety of needlecrafts through the Women's Institute. She returned to Australia in 1975 and, in 1977, she opened a needlecraft shop in Mosman, Sydney with two partners. Although she has since given up her interest in the shop, she has continued to find enjoyment and fulfilment in her craft by teaching. Diane qualified as a teacher in 1987, when she gained her Level 1 Teacher Certi¬fication from the National Academy-of Needlearts in the USA. She is a member of the American Needlepoint Guild and attends their seminars whenever possible.
